Fundraising Grants Education Mentoring As a clinic we hold fund raisers for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Imana Kids and Salvation Army in Council Bluffs. We donate veterinary care, food and treats for the Council Bluffs Fire Department dog, Gibson. We donate veterinary care to the Mills County Sheriff canines and Glenwood Police canines. Because we love this community, and we want the best for its animals and animal lovers.

Volunteering Grants Education Mentoring Dr. Melissa Harrer volunteers as a coach for soccer and baseball. She serves on an advisory board and volunteers for the Salvation Army in Council Bluffs. And she serves on an advisory board at Iowa Western Community College for the Veterinary Technician program. Dr. Harrer also volunteers at her childrens school and church.

Dr. Amanda Merchant volunteers with boy scouts and cub scouts, and with her church. Dr. Merchant also makes hats and blankets for newborn babies at the hospital.

Dr. Kristen Westergaard volunteers at St. Patrick’s Church of Neola, Friends of Underwood and Healing Embrace.
